FAQ

Q: Why should I choose Solimano Law?

A: We are not your everyday law firm.  Our lawyers and support staff are passionate about getting a result for you, our client.  Our success is based on our team’s legal expertise, effective legal strategy, and the importance we place on building long-term client relationships.

Q: What can I expect in a first meeting?

A: Our first meeting is designed for us to gain an understanding of your situation, and to provide you with your options from a legal, practical, and financial standpoint.  It is also intended to give you an introduction to the lawyers who will be working with you toward your desired outcome.

Q: What should I bring to an initial meeting?

A: You should bring with you any documentation you have relevant to your situation.  This may include your contract, invoices, emails, photos, and correspondence.  It is often helpful to prepare a point form outline of your matter to ensure your time with us is efficient, and productive. You should also please bring government issued photo identification with you to the meeting.

Q: What will the fees look like?

A: Our lawyers and support staff bill by the hour, and we keep our rates within the standard range for the industry.  The rates of our team members vary between $250 – $350 per hour depending on experience and area of law.  Our goal is to achieve your desired outcome as efficiently as possible, without sacrificing effectiveness.

Q: How long does the litigation process take?

A: The litigation process can take anywhere from a few hours to a few years.  This depends on a variety of factors such as the complexity of the dispute, the willingness of the other party to resolve the situation, as well as the availability of court time.  Our job is to help navigate you through the process to get a result as efficiently and effectively as possible.

Q: Is it necessary to make a claim in Court?

A: We recognise that going to Court is not always the best way to resolve a situation. Our team will provide you with practical advice and options that may negate the need for going to Court.  If Court is in fact the best option, you can be assured that you have an experienced litigation team committed to obtaining the desired result for you.
